You will identify the pervading themes of fairytales including good vs. evil, magic, problem, once upon a time, and happily ever after.
You will identity the story elements including characters, setting, sequence, conflict, climax, and resolution.
Your group will create a voice thread, it will summarize your version of Cinderella.
Your group will complete a Venn diagram, it will compare and contrast the original Cinderella to other multicultural versions of Cinderella.
Your group will use the Venn diagram as a guide to begin your research.
During your teacher conference time you will be asked to locate the county on a globe.
You will draw or print a map of the country you are researching.
Your group will create a presentation using the information you gathered while researching the country and culture of your chosen version using the Super 3-Plan, Do, Review.
You will create a passport to document each country that you visit.
Your group will present its final project to the class. You may choose a method of presentation that fits your learning style.
Your presentation will help foster an understanding and appreciation of different cultures-it’s ok to be different.
